Instant City Reloaded – Southwark: Infiltration #2

Instant City Reloaded is a project shared by the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and today’s incarnation of Cabaret Voltaire, the birthplace of Dada in Zurich, in collaboration with Central Saint Martins. It is adapted from a concept by Archigram, the experimental architecture group from London active in the 1960s and 1970s who sought to bring together disparate parts of society in art by means of provisional performance spaces. A large delegation from Zurich will infiltrate London with their inflatable “Dada on Tour” tent for three days.

Exhibition and Live Performances @ The Underdog Art Gallery
The second Instant City Reloaded infiltration in Southwark’s exciting new gallery for contemporary arts is a mixed event presenting performances by Brazilian artists Jessica Goes & Rafael Ablada and students from Zurich University of the Arts. Cabaret Voltaire’s celebratory film Dada in Nuce is shown alongside photos and installation works by London-based Dadaist Michael St. Marks. The bar is open for the duration of the infiltration.
